Hi! I'm Amby and I'm the owner, chief creative officer, and one-woman team behind Julip Bags! I'm so glad you stopped by!
I quit my day job to do Julip Bags full-time, be sure to check out the article!
Julip Bags was named as one of Ravelry co-founder Jess's favorite shops, was reviewed on the Stitch-It! podcast, and included in Knitty's Knittyspin Quickpicks!
My Ravelry ID is Russellmama, please feel free to add me as a friend!
The main Julip Bags fan group is on Facebook, you don't have to have a Facebook account to check it out, so come on over!
Originally I started off making unique knitting bags...bags with a specific purpose or style! Gradually I've expanded to include multi-purpose totes, as well as more bags for knitters, spinners, crafters, artists, and women who just love stylish bags!
One of my original designs, The Keeper (as seen on the Amanda Sock, Dana Sweater, and Gabrielle Lace Keepers) currently has a patent pending with the U.S.P.T.O.
Wondering about where I get the names for my bags? They're named after the women I'm proud to call my friends and family (with one exception: the Casey Doggie Bag was named after my husband's late Bichon)!
